Getting here
How to reach Zempin
By car via Wolgast, by train right into the village, or by bike along the coast. Important if you are driving: the opening times of the Peene bridge.
For your sat nav
Fischerstraße 8c, 17459 Zempin
This is the address of Ferienwohnung Nele. If your sat nav does not recognise the “8c”, simply enter Fischerstraße 8 – that puts you right outside. The parking space at the house is free of charge.
Access details and the exact location of the parking space are sent with your booking confirmation.
By car
Via the B111 and the Peene bridge at Wolgast
Coming from the A20 motorway you drive via Anklam and Wolgast onto the island. In Wolgast you cross the Peene river on the Peene bridge (B111); the road then continues via Zinnowitz directly to Zempin. Alternatively you can reach the island further south across the Zecherin bridge (B110).
Both bridges are raised several times a day for shipping. While a bridge is open the road is closed – up to 30 minutes at Wolgast and up to 20 minutes at Zecherin. Our advice: allow half an hour of buffer rather than arriving just before an opening.
